Your bed should set the scene for the rest of the bedroom. Select a bed with a large head for a striking impact – as in the picture. If you're short on cash then get creative with your basic ensemble. You can dress it up with funky bed linen that's easy to replace when you get sick of the look. Another great idea is to source a large piece of timber that can lean against the wall as a bedhead. Cover it in your favourite fabric or wallpaper and then match the rest of the bedroom's decor with the bedhead.
